All About Fabrics

We just received the luxury silk plain books from Kravet Fabrics and we just love it. It's a perfect collection if you are looking for understated and elegant fabrics.

The collection falls under Kravet Couture, which is the higher end line of Kravet fabrics. The books are organized into 4 colors group, Champagne/Tusk, Blue Mist/Mojito, Amber/Mink and Greystone/Lilac.

The colors are subdued and the patterns are very simple but elegant. Here are a few samples:

This one is called Outside the Box (pattern 29468 color 106)

This one is called Dotted Silk (pattern 29500 color 110)

This one is called Wound Tight (pattern 29535 color 6)

This one is called Fishnet (pattern 29504 color 115) All of these fabrics look way better in person than on the computer. If you need swatches, visit our fabric store and we'll get them out to you within 48 hours.

The fabrics above range between $120-$200 per yard retail.

We are so impressed with the Thibaut web site, we just have to share it with you. It is one of the most well-designed web site for fabrics and wallpapers we've ever seen. Each product image is clear, and all have room scenes to show what the rooms look like. There are several colorways for each pattern. All wallpapers and fabrics can be coordinated, which makes it really easy to decorate.

Thibaut Design is traditional--soft and feminine. There are a lot of floral patterns and a lot of colors.

Osborne and Little is one of the boutique lines that not many people have heard of, but we think you should check them out. A tiny distributor, O &L is based out of the UK. Famous for their wallpapers, O & L style is typical English. Fun, whimsical, and quirky.

Here are a few wallpapers samples from the spring 2008 collection. We love it because it's so fun and refreshing--with a touch of retro.
